From the mid C18 there were Alsbury's in Weston Zoyland, Somerset until the mid C19 - at which time the elder children's families migrated towards Bridgwater, and the younger branches to live in and around Cheltenham.

I was fortunate enough some years ago to make contact with Enid Walters (since deceased), a member of the branch of the family living at Cheltenham, and we shared quite a lot of information. The reason for our coming into contact was that she was a neighbour of the parents of the Vicar that I was working with as a Curate in Birkenhead at the time !

One member of the Bridgwater branch of the family has homepages available to access as he is studying for a B.Sc Hons degree in Computing at the University of North London, his name is Jonathan Alsbury...

Another member of a Bridgwater branch is now in contact who has, with her cousins' help, traced the family line back to the 1750's at Weston Zoyland.
