Minden POW camp
My grandfather was taken to this camp some time after his capture on 3rd December 1917 and remained there
until February 1918.
Another of the Derbyshire Yeomanry who had transfered with him to the 14th DLI, Samuel Bould, was taken POW
on the same day and was also taken to Minden. Samuel Bould returned from Minden POW camp to the Uk at the end
of 1918 after the Armistice.
